## Description

ALCS is a reputable brand that ensures writers receive the rightful payment for their work, no matter where it is used or copied in the world. With a strong focus on 'secondary uses' or 'secondary rights', ALCS guarantees that writers are compensated when their work is reproduced, such as when schools photocopy books or libraries lend them. In addition to safeguarding writers' financial interests, ALCS actively campaigns on various issues relevant to the writing community. The brand collects money globally and is transparent about the sources of revenue. Committed to its members, ALCS is owned by writers themselves since its establishment in 1977 and operates as a not-for-profit organization. Furthermore, ALCS conducts research to understand the current challenges faced by writers. With a dedicated team and a well-regulated system in place, ALCS offers a supportive environment for writers and welcomes individuals interested in working with them.
