## Description

The Australian Lions Wellbeing Foundation (ALWF) is dedicated to enhancing community health and wellbeing through innovative programs and education. Originally established as the Australian Lions Drug Awareness Foundation over 30 years ago, the organization rebranded in 2021 to reflect its broader mission aimed at fostering happy, resilient communities.

ALWF focuses on raising awareness about substance abuse while providing educational resources and prevention initiatives tailored for local communities. Its flagship projects include "Tune In Not Out," a youth health portal, and "Freedom to Feel Fantastic," a campaign addressing body image concerns.

The Foundation is directed by a committed Board of Directors, selected from Lions Clubs across Australia, ensuring a grassroots approach to community engagement. In collaboration with its ambassador, clinical psychologist Andrew Fuller, ALWF emphasizes psychological wellbeing, particularly among young people. The Foundation also actively supports counseling and rehabilitation programs, striving to create a safer, healthier environment for all Australians. Through community grants and collaborative initiatives, ALWF continues its vital work in promoting wellbeing nationwide.
