## Description

The Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association (ALDHA) is a dedicated community of hikers, dreamers, and trail enthusiasts who come together to preserve, protect, and promote the long-distance hiking experience. As an off-trail family, ALDHA is passionate about maintaining the beauty and integrity of the trails. ALDHA offers a range of products and services to support hikers. Their website provides valuable information on hiker resources, such as trail updates, hiking guides, and mailing labels for popular trails like the CDT and PCT. Additionally, ALDHA organizes educational programs like ALDHA Care and Hike in Harmony, focusing on sustainable hiking practices and environmental stewardship. Joining ALDHA gives you access to exclusive member content, including newsletters, blog posts, and event calendars. Members also have the opportunity to contribute to trail maintenance through the Trail Crew program. If you're passionate about long-distance hiking and want to be part of a vibrant community that values the preservation of the trail experience, consider joining ALDHA. Take the first step on your thousand-mile journey and connect with like-minded individuals who share your love for the great outdoors.
