## Description

Aldo Pisano is an award-winning Latinx comedy writer and director who creates bold, inventive work for television and digital audiences. Born in San Francisco and raised by Latino parents, he describes his style as irreverent and surreal; his work is often visual, sometimes dark, and made to entertain. His credits span comedy, horror-comedy, science fiction, and animation, reflecting a broad range of storytelling projects and formats.

Pisano’s 1960s-set pilot, Our Shag Pad, won Best Original Series at HBO’s Urbanworld and Best Web Series at the Warner Media New York Latino Film Festival, and premiered at Austin Film Festival. He wrote and directed When the Bomb Drops, which received an Imagen Award nomination, and the horror-comedy Real Zombie Movie, a finalist for HBO Max’s Short Film Competition. His work also includes writing for Cartoon Network’s Ben 10, selling a half-hour pilot to Super Deluxe, and developing a series at Warner Bros. He has completed filming the fantasy comedy The D.O.D. and is finishing post-production on the sci-fi satire Pretties vs Uglies.
