## Description

AlgoRat is a rat-centric computational arts collective founded at the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The collective is made up of Char Stiles, Connie Ye, Tatyana Mustakos, and Caroline Hermans, and shares its work on Twitter and Instagram. AlgoRat creates playful, interactive digital experiences and customizable greetings centered on rats, combining creative technology with humor and imaginative design.

Its projects invite visitors to make choices, personalize characters, and create gifts for fellow rat enthusiasts. The Ratchelor is a dating-game-style experience in which players act as a “smoking hot rat” and narrow down love prospects in search of a soulmate. SharpieMaker offers a Halloween-inspired costume and style selector, while Ratmaker lets users create a rat version of themselves, a new buddy, or a random character. Sweateratcreator is a design tool for making a tiny rat a sweater. For special occasions, congRATulations provides a customizable graduation e-card, and Algotines generates Valentine messages for someone special.
