## Description

All Asia TCN is an innovative initiative dedicated to bringing Asian biodiversity into the digital realm. Launched in 2021 with funding from the National Science Foundation and spearheaded by Harvard University Herbaria, this project aims to digitize over 3 million Asian vascular plant specimens sourced from museums, universities, and botanical gardens. 

Asia, known for its rich and varied habitats, is home to a significant portion of the world's plant species, making this undertaking crucial for biodiversity conservation. The digitized specimens, representing the largest U.S. collection of Asian vascular plants, not only preserve the history of floral exploration but also provide valuable resources for scientific research and practical applications, including climate change studies and virus transmission modeling.
