## Description

The Evans Network of Companies is a transportation and logistics provider founded in 1939 by Albert Evans Sr. in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. It has grown from an asset-heavy less-than-truckload operation into a major asset-light provider of independent intermodal drayage services in North America. The company offers nationwide, multimodal freight solutions through a network of agents and more than 750 locations, with access to over 7,500 power units.

Its services include intermodal and drayage, truckload, flatbed, less-than-truckload and final-mile delivery, and broader transportation and logistics solutions. The network also supports freight opportunities for independent contractors and vendor carriers, including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, intermodal and LTL freight.

For agents, Evans provides administrative and business support, including accounts receivable, cash management, regulatory compliance, risk management, insurance, sales and marketing resources, technology, training, and access to management. The company also offers driver and carrier opportunities, helping transportation professionals connect with freight and build their businesses.
