## Description

Asthma & Allergy Physicians of Rhode Island (AAPRI) is a medical practice serving people with asthma and allergies. Its approach combines traditional and functional medicine, with a focus on identifying potential underlying causes and improving patients’ overall quality of life. The practice offers comprehensive assessments and testing to support diagnosis and treatment, including allergy skin, patch and blood testing, pulmonary function tests, and nasal endoscopy.

AAPRI’s services include individualized allergy and asthma treatment, sublingual allergy drops, and oral immunotherapy for eligible patients with food allergies. The practice can assess whether a reaction is caused by a food allergy and determine whether oral immunotherapy may be appropriate. AAPRI also operates a multi-specialty clinical research center, where patients may take part in clinical trials and receive study-related medical care.

Patients can access appointment information, patient forms, billing and insurance resources, and a patient portal. The practice also shares educational resources through its newsletter, blog, and videos, covering asthma and allergy management, practice news, and developments in health care.
