## Description

Allied Climbers of San Diego (ACSD) is a membership-based climbers' advocacy organization that is dedicated to supporting environmentally responsible recreation access. They aim to bring climbers together and address issues related to climbing and outdoor recreation. With a focus on the local San Diego area, ACSD works towards maintaining access to various crags and promoting the preservation of the natural environment. ACSD offers a range of services, including bolt replacement and education on climbing and the environment. They provide resources and guidance to climbers, helping them understand the impact of their activities and promoting sustainable practices. One remarkable project undertaken by ACSD was a large graffiti removal initiative, organized by member Josh Higgins. This highlights their commitment to maintaining the integrity of climbing sites and their ability to make a difference through community collaboration. To stay connected with the climbing community and receive updates on climbing news and outdoor activities, individuals can subscribe to ACSD's mailing list. By becoming a member, climbers can actively contribute to ACSD's mission and help protect and preserve the San Diego climbing experience for future generations.
