Almost Fun is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping marginalized students unlock joy and confidence in their math learning. Our mission is to provide culturally-responsive resources that promote true understanding and conceptual mastery of math skills. We started with SAT prep because we understand the anxiety it can induce, especially for low-income students and students of color.

By using familiar contexts and analogies, we have been able to significantly improve student scores and self-confidence. Now, we are expanding our approach to K-12 Math. We are creating a comprehensive library of math lessons that utilize culturally-responsive, non-math analogies to help students develop a deep, conceptual understanding of math.
