ALNAP is a global network that aims to strengthen humanitarian action through evaluation and learning. It brings together NGOs, UN agencies, members of the Red Cross/Crescent Movement, donors, academics, networks, and consultants to improve responses to humanitarian crises. By enhancing the quality, availability, and utilization of knowledge and evidence from previous responses, ALNAP strives to make the system more effective and accountable. ALNAP facilitates learning among its network members, hosts the largest library of evaluations of humanitarian action, conducts original research, and organizes events and conferences. Its activities include developing plans, policies, and strategies, such as the recently launched activities for 2023-2025. ALNAP also produces tools and guidelines for the sector and maintains the largest repository of humanitarian lessons and evaluations in its HELP Library. Through annual meetings, workshops, and global forums, ALNAP brings together the humanitarian system to learn, share insights, and improve practices. With over 100 full and associate members, ALNAP collaborates with professionals in the field to develop relevant and accessible tools and analyses. ALNAP is dedicated to advancing humanitarian learning and invites interested individuals to work with them to make a difference in humanitarian responses.
