## Description

Alpakas Wesel, also known as Alpakas vom Möwenweg, is an alpaca farm and breeding operation in Wesel, in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. Founded in 2020 with four female alpacas, the herd has grown to more than 21 animals, with the first cria born in the same year. The owners care for the alpacas daily and emphasize their health, welfare and appropriate care, while taking a particular interest in Appaloosa coloring.

Visitors can book alpaca walks and farm visits, and can discuss arranging small celebrations or photo shoots for different occasions. The experiences offer time with the animals in a calm, outdoor setting, with guidance on respectful interaction. Walks are generally held on weekends or by arrangement; participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes, and dogs are not permitted.

The farm also offers alpaca products and gift vouchers through its farm shop. Items include blankets made from the animals’ fleece; while the shop was announced to open in December 2023, products were available by telephone inquiry.
