EUSALP, the Alpine Region’s strategic cooperative initiative, stands at the forefront of sustainable development. Co-presidency from Austria and Liechtenstein in 2025 heralds a decade of alliances with a renewed focus on transformation through collaboration. The initiative emphasizes three key pillars: mobility, energy, and circular construction. 

EUSALP aims to revolutionize mobility across the Alps by enhancing rail infrastructure and creating sustainable transportation solutions. The energy sector will benefit from the implementation of resilient infrastructure and the promotion of renewable energy resources, ensuring energy security and sustainability for the region. Additionally, the circular transformation of the construction industry is a significant priority, encouraging regional resource utilization and innovative building practices that extend the life cycle of structures.

Through various meetings, conferences, and workshops throughout 2025, EUSALP seeks to foster cooperation among Alpine states to enable knowledge sharing and drive effective governance. The overarching motto, "Cooperation Empowers Transformation," underscores its commitment to creating a thriving Alpine future that balances environmental stewardship with quality of life.
