## Description

The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) is an international trade association supporting and representing not-for-profit organizations that publish scholarly and professional content, as well as organizations and individuals who work with them. It connects the scholarly publishing community and welcomes membership applications from organizations across the sector.

ALPSP provides professional development, industry information and opportunities for collaboration. Its publisher-designed training is available through virtual workshops, on-demand courses and in-house programmes, covering a broad range of topics. Offerings include an Open Access Journals Learning Pathway and courses on areas such as portfolio development and process improvement. The association also hosts in-person, online and hybrid events, including webinars, a conference and awards recognizing achievement and innovation in publishing.

Members can access resources such as the Learned Publishing journal, the ALPSP Alert newsletter and a policy bulletin covering developments that affect the industry. Other services include special interest groups, sponsorship opportunities, publishing resources and toolkits, and a careers hub with job listings, educational videos, mentorship and redundancy support.
