## Description

Alrik – Rollenspielverein Haßberge e.V. is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting cultural participation through role-playing games and improvisational theatre. Founded in 2002, the club brings people together through imaginative storytelling, shared activities and a continuing programme of live events. Its members regularly organise game sessions on behalf of the association, and both members and non-members are welcome to take part. A central focus is live-action role-playing, or LARP, with events set in a variety of worlds. Many take place in Aventurien, the setting associated with The Dark Eye (DSA). Alrik also supports the development of tools for the LARP community. Its Larpbook project involves creating and publishing apps for iOS and Android. In addition, the association is working on a management tool to help organisers in the Codex network administer their live-action role-playing events. Through these activities, Alrik combines community involvement, creative play and practical support for event organisers while pursuing its stated charitable purpose.
