## Description

Alt-Ford-Freunde E.V. is a German club dedicated to preserving and celebrating classic and modern classic Ford vehicles. Its roots date to activities in 1976, and the association has been supporting Ford enthusiasts since 1978. Members come mainly from German-speaking countries, with others across Europe, and share knowledge, practical help and a passion for Ford heritage.

The club welcomes owners and fans of a wide range of models, from early Ford cars and Taunus variants to Escort, Sierra, Capri, Scorpio, Mustang and Thunderbird. Its community includes more than 1,000 member-owned vehicles and is organised into 15 regional groups. Activities include local meetups, an annual gathering with a drive and general meeting, and stands at major classic-car fairs.

Membership also provides access to model specialists, parts sourcing advice and reproduction parts, technical and historical literature, and Ford manuals and workshop information for members. The association publishes a member magazine and offers email updates. It also supports initiatives connected with preserving automotive heritage, including participation in a classic-car fundraising campaign benefiting Lebenshilfe Gießen.
