## Description

AlterDiag is a biotechnology company focused on developing and distributing rapid diagnostic tests to address unmet medical needs. The company specializes in lateral flow tests, also known as immunochromatography-based tests, designed to provide fast results and support informed decisions by healthcare professionals near patients. Its research and development team works on new testing solutions for emerging health challenges, drawing on scientific advances and a commitment to reliable, accurate products.

Alongside its own development work, AlterDiag sources and distributes rapid diagnostic tests made by third-party manufacturers in France and internationally. Its research and regulatory teams assess partner manufacturers and their tests in the laboratory against the company’s quality requirements before the products are offered to the market. This approach is intended to help healthcare providers access high-performance diagnostic products and support patient care.

AlterDiag was founded after the COVID-19 crisis brought its founders into the rapid testing market and united them around a shared vision. The company also offers partnership opportunities and shares news, updates, and career information through its website.
