## Description

Althea Therapy is a brand that aims to bridge the access gap in digital mental health for racially diverse communities in Canada. They are dedicated to reducing racial mental health disparities and destigmatizing therapy for communities of color. Recognizing the ethnic and racial diversity in Canada, Althea Therapy understands that finding a therapist who understands your unique cultural experiences can be challenging. That's why they provide access to culturally-responsive mental health professionals and resources nationwide. Althea Therapy offers two main support pathways. First, their mobile app allows users to connect with culturally responsive mental health professionals for virtual sessions. They prioritize visibility, access, and education to ensure that individuals can easily find and connect with the right therapist. Additionally, Althea Therapy offers the Reclaim Program, a 5-week online group learning experience designed to reduce anxiety and soothe stress. This program includes a one-year membership that provides ongoing support and resources. By prioritizing cultural responsiveness and accessibility, Althea Therapy aims to empower individuals to prioritize their mental well-being.
