## Description

Dunham Road Unitarian Chapel is an inclusive Unitarian church in Altrincham, Cheshire, welcoming people of all backgrounds, beliefs and identities. Its open approach draws inspiration from many faiths and traditions, including Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism and Sikhism. The chapel’s progressive community supports spiritual exploration and particularly welcomes young people. Sunday services are normally held at 11:30 a.m., both in person and via Zoom.

The chapel provides wedding and civil partnership ceremonies, including same-sex weddings, as well as vow renewals, baptisms and funeral services. Its history includes support for women ministers and marriage for divorcees of any faith. Beyond worship and ceremonies, the chapel offers rooms for hire in Altrincham. These spaces can host wedding receptions, parties, gatherings, local events and group activities, including meditation, exercise, baby yoga and grief support meetings. The venue also accommodates celebrations after baptisms and vow renewals, and receptions or wakes following funerals. Through its services and facilities, Dunham Road Unitarian Chapel supports both individual milestones and community life.
