## Description

Altruistic Innovations is an alternative-protein and food-innovation consultancy based in Chennai, India, connecting food-tech teams with expertise and networks across India and internationally. Founded by food scientist and strategist Sruthi Sadanand, the firm draws on more than eight years of experience in Singapore and India across cultivated meat, plant-based foods, ingredients, and product development. Its work helps founders, established food and beverage companies, investors, researchers, and educational institutions turn complex scientific and market opportunities into practical next steps.

Services include plant-based ingredient and product strategy, functionality assessment, market intelligence, and market development; cultivated-meat technical research, product insight, and strategic partnerships; investor due diligence and portfolio strategy; and academic collaborations, applied learning, mentorship, and talent pathways. Altruistic Innovations also supports formulation, sourcing, product positioning, and development, helping businesses progress from early concepts toward products suited to customer and market needs. Its approach combines research into science, technologies, and markets with tailored strategy and practical recommendations.
