A lush underwater paradise awaits at the Alushta Aquarium, located in Alushta, Crimea. Established in 2003 by a team of dedicated ichthyologists led by Viktor Zhilenko, this aquarium has grown from a single hall featuring fish from the Black and Azov Seas to become the largest of its kind on the southern coast of Crimea. Today, the facility boasts four expansive halls filled with over 250 species of marine life, including exotic fish, crocodiles, and turtles, as well as a stunning collection of seashells and corals from around the globe.

Visitors can journey through the enchanting World of Jungles exhibit, home to various reptiles and mammals, including rare species like the fennec and the red-handed tamarin. The aquarium is committed to education and conservation, showcasing many species listed in the Red Book. Whether marveling at vibrant coral reef inhabitants or observing fascinating freshwater species, guests of all ages are sure to find something new and exciting with each visit, making the Alushta Aquarium a must-see attraction.
