## Description

The Association of Municipalities and Cities of Republika Srpska is an organization serving local governments across Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based in Bijeljina, it provides a platform for municipalities and cities to share information, develop skills and engage with issues affecting local administration and communities. Its work spans local government structures and administration, municipal finance and property, local development, social services, urban planning, communal services and mobility, environmental protection and energy efficiency, international cooperation and European integration, and gender equality.

The Association supports local officials through training, consultations, information sessions and practical resources. Recent activities have included workshops for municipal councillors, support for health committee action plans, and information on energy-efficiency financing. It also undertakes projects, publishes materials, announces opportunities and maintains a calendar of events. An eLearning platform is among its available resources. The Association reports that its website was developed through a project to strengthen municipal and city associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, supported by the governments of Sweden and Switzerland.
