## Description

AMAC, the Amersfoortse Motor- en Automobielclub, is a motoring club based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Founded in 1933, it brings participants together through organized map-reading rallies, club events and annual championships. Its calendar features regular evening rallies, held monthly except in July and August, alongside special events such as the Openingsrit, Winterrit, Gelderse Vallei Rit, Tulpenrit, Eemland-ronde and Najaarsrit. The programme also includes the 55th Nacht om de Lange Jan and the Finalerit NRF. Evening-rally participants can register at the start location about half an hour before the event; the first team starts at 19:31. AMAC publishes event information, registration details, start lists, results and championship standings through its website. The championship is divided into Expert, Sport and Tour classes, with separate rankings for drivers and navigators. The club also provides membership information, its history, governance documents, sponsor details, contact options and a noticeboard for items offered or requested. Through its rallies and related services, AMAC supports competitive and recreational motoring for its community.
