## Description

Associazione AMA.le IQSEC2 APS ETS is an Italian nonprofit founded by three mothers whose daughters have a mutation in the IQSEC2 gene. Its name comes from the initials of the girls, Annalisa, Matilde and Alessandra. The association brings together families and supporters to raise awareness of IQSEC2-related conditions, share information and improve the lives of affected children.

AMA.le promotes research and provides support to families navigating a rare genetic condition that can involve intellectual and motor disabilities, epilepsy, communication difficulties and other complex needs. Its activities include family stays, grant initiatives, parent training, research support, workshops and awareness events. The association also highlights rehabilitation approaches that may help children, including psychomotor therapy, physiotherapy, speech and communication support, water-based therapy, music therapy and animal-assisted activities.

Families and community members can take part as volunteers, attend events, contribute to awareness efforts or make donations to support the association’s work. AMA.le aims to build a welcoming community where families can find understanding, information and practical support while helping advance research and hope for the future.
