## Description

Amanda Pierce Art is the work and teaching practice of Amanda Pierce, a Cree Métis contemporary painter and sculptor whose art is inspired by nature. Through her gallery, she presents original works, including pieces titled Earth Currents, Earth Scrolls, Birch Bark Scroll, and Sacred Remnants, with listed prices ranging from $625 to $4,800. Visitors can explore the gallery and find information about artwork ordering, shipping, photography, printing, and care.

Amanda also offers group, private, and semi-private classes, as well as online learning opportunities. Her workshops introduce participants to encaustic art and Wabi-Sabi, including a vessel-making workshop in which students create a bowl while exploring texture and creative process. In Painting with Fire Vol. 6, a year-long online course featuring artists from around the world, she shares techniques involving Wabi-Sabi texture, cracks, embedded materials, and fragments, using encaustic and cold wax. The website also highlights her involvement in a collaborative Feather Stick project focused on reconciliation through art, and offers a newsletter with updates on classes, new products, and articles.
