## Description

Amandine Urruty is a Paris-based artist who creatively merges the whimsical with the grotesque, offering a distinctive visual narrative through her eclectic art. With a foundation in traditional drawing, Urruty's work manifests in a vibrant gallery of peculiar characters, blending baroque decor with playful elements. Her art captures an inherent ambivalence, reflecting the dualities of beauty and oddity, and draws inspiration from the likes of Jérôme Bosch, as well as her own experiences in underground music.

Over her prolific career, Urruty has participated in more than seventy exhibitions worldwide and published four monographic books, including "Dommage Fromage" and "The Party." Her artistic repertoire spans illustrations, murals, and various canvas works, each resonating with an alchemistic symbolism that appeals to diverse audiences. Urruty's innovative approach to art not only celebrates individuality but also invites viewers to explore the delightful intersections of elegance and eccentricity in the contemporary art scene.
