## Description

The Amarna Project is dedicated to the exploration, preservation, and study of the ancient Egyptian city of Tell el-Amarna, known as the capital established by the controversial Pharaoh Akhenaten around 1332 BCE. This site is notable for its unique cultural and religious history, representing a pivotal moment in ancient Egyptian civilization with its focus on the worship of one god, the Aten.

The project operates in collaboration with the Egyptian government, particularly the Supreme Council of Antiquities, to ensure the archaeological integrity of Amarna. In addition to conducting vital archaeological research, the Amarna Project focuses on the preservation of the site's remains, promoting educational initiatives, and engaging with local traditional crafts and life.

Given the threats posed by urban and agricultural development, the Amarna Project invites supporters to join its cause through various donation programs, encouraging global participation in protecting this irreplaceable heritage. Through its efforts, the project aims to foster a deeper understanding of ancient Egyptian society and its historical significance.
