## Description

The Amateur Football Combination (AFC) is one of Europe's leading adult football leagues, boasting an impressive roster of approximately 75 clubs and 200 teams participating in competitive matches every Saturday from September to May. Based primarily in London and the surrounding Home Counties, the AFC contributes significantly to the grassroots football landscape, representing over 1% of adult male 11-a-side teams in England.

The league is structured into multiple divisions, including the Premier Division and various senior, intermediate, and junior tiers, catering to players of all levels and experiences. Each season, the AFC organizes a range of cup competitions, including the Senior and Intermediate Cups, fostering a spirit of fair play, respect, and community engagement among players and clubs.

Additionally, the AFC places a strong emphasis on referee training and guidance, ensuring that the integrity of the game is maintained. Through initiatives such as the AFC Awards Ceremony and the Spirit of Football Statement, the organization actively promotes the values of sportsmanship and camaraderie on and off the field.
