American Carbon Registry (ACR) is a leading carbon offset program that is part of Winrock International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering disadvantaged communities, increasing economic opportunities, and sustaining natural resources. With over two decades of experience, ACR is recognized for its high standards of environmental integrity and commitment to innovation. ACR operates in both global voluntary and regulated carbon markets. It was the first private voluntary offset program in the world when it was founded in 1996.
