# American Drone Motors - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `americandronemotors.com` ## Description American Drone Motors is a Huntsville, Alabama-based manufacturer developing American-made brushless DC (BLDC) motors for commercial and defense unmanned aircraft systems. The company focuses on Group 1 attritable UAS, addressing concerns about reliance on foreign-made drone components through domestic manufacturing and vertically integrated production. Its approach combines proven commercial and consumer drone technology with an intelligently scaled factory, modular designs, and locally produced critical motor components. The product lineup includes the 3115 900Kv, designed to balance thrust, efficiency, and cost, and the 8520 100Kv, built to deliver greater thrust for demanding missions and larger payloads. These propulsion systems are intended for defense applications as well as industrial inspection, logistics, and autonomous mapping. The company emphasizes responsive performance, reliability, and compatibility with modern flight controllers. American Drone Motors also highlights supply-chain security, NDAA and Blue UAS considerations, NIST SP 800-171 compliance, and quality management under AS9100 Rev D standards. Based in Madison, Alabama, it works with engineering partners including Onshape and Ansys and invites organizations to discuss secure partnerships and mission requirements. ## Industries - 🏭 Heavy Industry and Engineering - 🏭 Aerospace and Defense _(under Heavy Industry and Engineering)_ - 🏎 Vehicles - 🏎 Aviation _(under Vehicles)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/americandronemotors) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idM3gtbHpR/w/1920/h/448/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790987382052) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Elephant | #123550 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Cornflower | #97c3e6 | light | ## Fonts - Space Grotesk — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
