## Description

The Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 by leading domestic manufacturers and the United Steelworkers. Its mission is to strengthen American manufacturing through smart public policies. AAM works to educate policymakers and the public, advocate for measures that support manufacturing jobs, and build coalitions around a stronger U.S. industrial sector. The organization describes a track record of more than 15 years and promotes the future of American factories and good-paying, working-class jobs.

AAM’s work focuses on manufacturing-related issues, including trade, employment, Buy America policies, and the health of the industrial base. It shares research and policy information, follows manufacturing and trade indicators, and publishes news and analysis through its blog, “Manufacture This,” as well as press releases and a podcast. The organization also features stories about American-made products and manufacturers. Visitors can explore its policy resources, follow developments in the sector, and subscribe to a free biweekly newsletter for updates.
