## Description

American Rhino is a purpose-driven fashion brand founded in 2016 by Chris Welles, inspired by his transformative family vacation to Kenya. With a mission to support Kenyan wildlife conservation and empower local communities, American Rhino began its journey participating in the Rhino Charge, an off-road motorsport event that raises funds for conservation efforts. Initially focusing on hats and t-shirts, the brand now offers a diverse collection, including Nomand low-top and Lamu high-top sneakers, meticulously crafted in East Africa.

American Rhino prioritizes sustainability and ethical practices, with over 95% of its products manufactured locally. Utilizing Kikoy, a traditional Kenyan textile, the brand has created versatile and stylish apparel synonymous with its identity. By donating 10% of all purchases to the American Rhino Foundation, the brand reinforces its commitment to positive impact. Join American Rhino in celebrating the spirit of Kenya while contributing to vital conservation efforts and supporting local economies. Discover unique fashion that marries style, purpose, and community engagement.
