## Description

The American Veterans Center (AVC) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy and experiences of America's veterans, from World War II through today. They offer a range of services and programs aimed at honoring and supporting veterans. One of their flagship events is the National Memorial Day Parade, the largest Memorial Day commemoration in the nation. This patriotic event takes place on Constitution Avenue in Washington, DC, and can be watched on major television networks. The AVC is also committed to recording the memories of World War II veterans. They conduct interviews, which are then donated to the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and made available to museums and documentary films. If you know a WWII veteran with a story to tell, you can contact the AVC to share their details. Another prominent event is the AVC's Annual Conference & American Valor, a gathering that brings together legends and leaders from the last 80 years of American history. Through educational programs, civic events, and preservation of oral histories, the AVC ensures that the sacrifices and stories of American veterans are never forgotten. They also produce compelling media content, such as the Veterans Chronicles program and the Emmy-winning television show American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes. You can support the AVC and its mission by making a tax-deductible donation. Your contribution helps guard the legacies of all American veterans.
