## Description

The American Wild Horse Campaign (AWHC) is America's leading voice in protecting wild mustangs and burros and preserving the Western public lands they inhabit. As a nonprofit organization, AWHC is dedicated to ensuring a bright future for these iconic animals. They work tirelessly to reform the federal wild horse and burro roundup program, advocating for more humane and cost-effective management methods that keep these creatures wild, protected, and free. AWHC is responsible for managing the world's largest humane fertility control program for wild, free-roaming horses. With nearly 80,000 mustangs and burros spread across 27 million federal acres, AWHC fights against the costly and detrimental practices of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Delving into topics like legislation, litigation, and advocacy, AWHC actively addresses the pressing issues facing wild horses today. By supporting AWHC, you can help preserve the heritage and natural beauty of America's wild horses and burros.
