## Description

The Mexican Natural Gas Association (AMGN) represents organizations involved in Mexico’s natural gas industry and promotes understanding of the fuel’s role in the country’s economic and social development. The association highlights natural gas as an energy source used in industry, electricity generation, homes, businesses, and vehicles, noting its continuous supply and potential to help reduce carbon footprints. AMGN provides information about natural gas and the sector through educational resources, news, and studies, including research developed with the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO). It also connects visitors with member and affiliate organizations, shares employment opportunities offered by its associates, and publishes industry directories and other reference materials. Its “Call Before You Dig” initiative provides information related to excavation and natural gas infrastructure. AMGN reports that its members represent substantial investment in Mexico and support thousands of direct and indirect jobs. The association also offers a newsletter, communicates industry updates and press information, and provides contact details and links to relevant Mexican energy and regulatory institutions.
