## Description

The Academy for Addiction & Mental Health Nutrition (AAMHN) provides education and professional training in amino acid therapy and brain-focused nutrition for addiction recovery and mental health. Its approach emphasizes the role of nutrient and neurotransmitter imbalances, food, and targeted nutrients in supporting recovery and client wellbeing. The Academy serves clinicians, treatment providers, and health and recovery coaches seeking to incorporate nutrition-based strategies into their work.

AAMHN offers a six-month Level 1 Core Training and an eight-month Level 2 Advanced Training, along with introductory classes, a recovery-focused crash course, and other specialized courses. Its certification pathway prepares participants to become Certified Recovery Nutrition Coaches. Learning resources include live online classes, video replays, downloadable materials, protocols, scientific resources, a blog, podcast, and professional videos. The Academy also hosts events, consultation groups, and a community forum where practitioners can learn and connect. Its bookstore features EAT!, a guide to using food and amino acids in recovery, and the site provides access to a supplement store, certified coaches, and nutritionally oriented treatment centers.
