## Description

AMPap, the Madrid Association of Primary Care Pediatrics, is a professional organization representing and supporting pediatricians who work in primary care in the Community of Madrid. It promotes the development of pediatric primary care through professional education, research, collaboration, and advocacy on issues affecting children’s health and healthcare services.

The association offers courses, practical workshops, and continuing education for healthcare professionals, with topics including pediatric ultrasound, mental health first aid, minor surgery, and child and adolescent health. It shares clinical resources, guidance, and links to materials produced by AMPap and partner organizations, including joint recommendations for pediatric digestive conditions. Its website also provides information on childhood vaccination schedules, international vaccinations, research opportunities, grants, and professional resources for pediatricians and residents.

AMPap publishes news, statements, and updates on developments in primary care pediatrics, and provides opportunities for members to connect through mailing lists and a members’ area. By combining education, information, research support, and professional representation, AMPap works to strengthen pediatric care in Madrid and promote better health outcomes for children and families.
