## Description

Amphibious Aquatics is a Guam-based nonprofit swim team dedicated to water safety, community health, environmental protection, and the growth of swimming and aquatics on Guam and in the region. It offers youth and adult training designed to build water confidence, conditioning, and swimming skills in a safe, supportive learning environment. Through aquatic training and competition, the organization helps athletes develop life lessons, pursue personal goals, and strengthen team spirit. Its programs also create opportunities for age-group athletes and support youth development.

A key community effort is the Drown-Free Guåhan (DFG) Initiative, launched in January 2024 with local partners to address Guam’s serious drowning rate. The initiative has helped more than 180 youth and adults build water confidence and learn water safety skills, with sessions hosted at Hyatt Regency Guam. Amphibious Aquatics works with government, healthcare, tourism, business, and community partners to deliver the program. The team also supports the broader development of aquatics and community participation in swimming.
