## Description

The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) is a cutting-edge particle physics detector that plays a crucial role in our understanding of the universe from its unique position on the International Space Station (ISS). Designed to collect and analyze high-energy cosmic rays, AMS-02 is instrumental in researching the composition of these cosmic particles, including the study of cosmic-ray sulfur and other primary cosmic rays. The detector utilizes a variety of advanced technologies, such as the Silicon Tracker, Time-of-Flight, and Electromagnetic Calorimeter, to facilitate detailed observations and measurements.

Through collaboration with multiple research institutions and partners, including CERN, the AMS project has made significant contributions to the field of astrophysics, yielding insights into the origins and properties of cosmic-ray particles and their interaction with solar and galactic phenomena. Furthermore, AMS is dedicated to ongoing research and public education, sharing findings through numerous published studies and presentations at scientific conferences. The work conducted by AMS continues to expand our understanding of fundamental physics and the nature of our universe.
