Amy Friedman is a Los Angeles-based author, editor, and creative writing teacher. With a passion for storytelling, she has created an impressive body of work. Amy is the author of Desperado's Wife, a captivating memoir that delves into her unconventional marriage to a man she fell in love with while he was in prison.

She has also collaborated with renowned chef Anne Willan on the delightful book One Soufflé At a Time. In addition to her writing, Amy is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. She co-founded the nonprofit organization POPS the Club with her husband, Dennis Danziger.

This organization provides much-needed support to teenagers impacted by incarceration.
