## Description

Amy Morin is a psychotherapist turned accidental author who has dedicated her career to helping others build mental strength. After experiencing personal loss at a young age, she embarked on a journey to learn how to be mentally strong and discovered that it's not only about developing good habits but also avoiding unhealthy ones. In 2013, during a challenging period in her life, Amy wrote a letter to herself listing 13 things mentally strong people don't do. Little did she know that this letter would go viral, reaching over 50 million people and catching the attention of a literary agent. This led to the publication of her first book, 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do, which became a global phenomenon, selling over 1 million copies and being translated into more than 40 languages. Amy has since written five more books, including 13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don't Do and 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don't Do. In addition to her writing, Amy is a sought-after speaker, having given talks for renowned organizations like Google and Microsoft. Her articles on mental strength are read by over 2 million people each month and can be found in publications such as Forbes, Inc., and Psychology Today. Amy's work has been featured by various media outlets, including CNN, Good Morning America, and The Wall Street Journal. When she's not speaking or writing, Amy enjoys living on a sailboat in the beautiful Florida Keys.
