## Description

Anderson Theatre & Film is the educational theatre and film organization at Anderson High School, dedicated to enriching students’ performance, technical, and literary skills. Its program combines classroom learning with mainstage productions and extracurricular activities, giving students opportunities to participate in varied aspects of theatre and filmmaking. Each school year, the organization produces three stage shows and one major film event.

The season features a range of work, including musicals, plays, and student-created films. The 2026–2027 lineup includes Pippin, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, the original student-written film Aberrants, and Finding Neverland. The film event also showcases selected short films created in Anderson Studio Film classes. Students can take part through auditions, crew interviews, classroom projects, and other activities. The organization also offers a theatre and film summer camp and supports involvement through AHS Drama Club and Friends of Anderson Drama (FAD). Anderson Theatre & Film shares information about tickets, auditions, productions, awards, and past shows, connecting students and audiences with the school’s ongoing creative work.
