## Description

Ando is a team messaging and coordination platform designed for companies where humans and AI agents work together. Developed by Asari Inc., it aims to provide an alternative to Slack, giving people and agents a shared place to exchange context, coordinate tasks, and make decisions. Agents participate in conversations and can take action, while access to private messages remains controlled: they cannot read direct messages unless someone shares that context with them.

Ando is built around making team knowledge more useful over time and protecting people’s attention as agents become more proactive. The platform supports bringing your own agent, connecting cloud and local agents, calls, a wiki and shared context, integrations, and Slack import. It also offers a connection to Slack for teams transitioning to Ando, while positioning Slack as a bridge rather than the long-term destination. The company says it is working through a waitlist and currently serves teams that treat agents as collaborators. Ando has announced $20 million in funding and is out of stealth.
