## Description

And Other Stories is an independent, not-for-profit publisher dedicated to innovative contemporary writing from around the world. Its carefully selected books bring readers work by international authors, including writing in translation, and the publisher presents itself as a home for ambitious, “shamelessly literary” books. Its catalogue includes titles such as Taiwan Travelogue by Yáng Shuāng-zǐ, translated by Lin King, and The Villain’s Dance by Fiston Mwanza Mujila. The publisher also announces new releases, including Freely Frayed, a collection by Don Mee Choi.

Readers can buy books through the online shop or subscribe to receive print and ebook selections delivered to their door. Subscriptions are also available as gifts, offering a way to support the publisher and receive books before general release. And Other Stories connects readers with its authors and books through events, reading groups, news, and the Ampersand blog, which features publisher updates and regular articles. The organisation also provides information for authors, booksellers, and rights enquiries, and invites readers to join its newsletter for updates on releases, events, and offers.
