Andy Nugent’s Academy of Martial Arts is a full-time, purpose-built training centre in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, serving students from nearby Hitchin, Letchworth, Luton and Welwyn. The academy offers instruction for children and adults, welcoming beginners and experienced practitioners, whether they train for fitness, personal development, self-defence or competition. Junior students can register for a free first lesson.

Classes cover a broad range of martial arts and combat sports, including Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts, Filipino Kali, kickboxing, Muay Thai, submission wrestling and judo. The academy is led by Andy Nugent, who has more than 35 years of martial arts experience and holds instructor credentials across several disciplines. His background includes Jeet Kune Do, Filipino martial arts, combat submission wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai boxing, Shotokan karate, judo and Rapid Arnis. The centre is located on London Road in Stevenage.
