## Description

The Associazione Nazionale Ex Internati nei Lager nazisti (ANEI) is a dedicated organization founded to honor and support the memory of Italian military personnel who were captured and interned in Nazi concentration camps during World War II. Established as a recognized moral entity since April 2, 1948, ANEI engages in a wide array of activities aimed at preserving the historical narratives of those who suffered in the camps and advocating for memorialization efforts.

ANEI offers a wealth of resources including publications like the "Bollettino Ufficiale 'Noi dei Lager'" and various diaries and testimonies from survivors. Their educational initiatives include a cultural laboratory, which showcases art created during internment, alongside events such as scholarship competitions and commemorative gatherings to reflect on the legacy of those interned. Through these activities, ANEI strives to ensure that the lessons of the past are neither forgotten nor repeated, providing a platform for remembrance and education on the humanitarian impact of war.
