## Description

Anffas Sondrio APS is a local association serving families and people with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders throughout the province of Sondrio, from Spluga to Livigno and across the Valtellina and Valchiavenna valleys. Part of the wider Anffas network, it brings together families, relatives, friends and volunteers to promote the wellbeing, rights and social inclusion of people with disabilities. The association works to prevent and support early diagnosis of intellectual and relational disabilities, while helping individuals and families access services and navigate relationships with institutions. Its support includes information, advice, consultations and assistance with individual needs and concerns.

Anffas Sondrio develops activities and projects designed to encourage participation, autonomy and quality of life. These include integrated volleyball, adapted gymnastics, horseback riding, inclusive holidays and recreational courses. Its educational initiatives include inclusive school projects, a play-based learning space and an inclusive garden. Through its “Progetto Vita,” the association helps each person shape a personalized future based on their interests, needs, expectations and rights.
