## Description

ANFFAS Valli Pinerolesi is a nonprofit association based in Pinerolo, Italy, founded in 1989 by Mirella Antonione Casale. It is part of the wider ANFFAS movement, established in 1958 by parents of people with disabilities. The association works to protect the rights and improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders, while supporting their families.

Its work includes advocacy for appropriate political and legislative responses, promoting social inclusion, and developing health, educational and community services. The association offers families listening, psychological support, personalized advice and practical guidance. Educational workshops, recreational activities, outings, holidays and local events create opportunities for social connection, participation and personal development.

ANFFAS Valli Pinerolesi also aims to strengthen its services and raise awareness of disability rights. Its key future project is a protected home where people can live after leaving their parents’ home, alongside a multipurpose centre with activities open to the wider community. Donations help sustain its projects and services.
