## Description

Anffas di Venezia – ETS is a local association of families and people with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. Founded in 1966 by Venetian families, it works from a commitment to solidarity and equal rights, promoting the wellbeing, protection, social participation, and inclusion in working life of people with disabilities. The association is part of the wider Anffas network, a national organisation established in 1958 to support people with intellectual and relational disabilities and their families.

Through agreements with local public bodies, including the Municipality of Venice and AULSS 3, Anffas di Venezia manages two residential communities, each accommodating 10 residents, and one apartment group for seven people. It also offers activities for members and residents, including movement and psychomotor programmes, sports, leisure activities, and trips away from home. Since 2002, its offerings have included an expressive arts workshop. Together, these services and activities support daily life, personal development, and opportunities to take part in the community.
