## Description

ANF Tarcento is an association based in Tarcento, in the province of Udine, dedicated to research, experimentation, documentation, and public outreach. Its interests span archaeology, ecology, geology, and speleology, with activities that help people explore the natural and historical features of the local area. The association organizes field outings, research trips, educational events, and initiatives focused on understanding the environment. Its articles share discoveries and insights, including reports on local fossils such as the Pontebba horseshoe crab and the Pramollo scorpion.

ANF Tarcento also operates a small archaeological, geological, and natural history exhibition in Tarcento at Via G. Pascoli 25. The museum is open by appointment to individuals, groups, and school classes, and offers free guided visits arranged by telephone. Members meet at the association’s premises on Thursday evenings. Through its research, events, publications, and museum visits, ANF Tarcento connects local heritage and scientific knowledge with the wider community.
